Hi Campbell, Perhaps “Gone With The Wind”, a 1939 film adapted from Margaret Mitchell’s 1936 novel about the American Civil War. Not only does the movie depict the atrocities of the conflict that besieged the United States from 1861 to 1865, but is an in depth study of people under duress.
